चांद की परछाई को देख,
पानी में कूद गए तुम।
अब जब डूब रहे हो
गलती चांद की इसमें क्या?
नासमझ दिल को इतना भी नहीं पता
चांद ज़मीन पर आती है कभी भला?

उसको क्या देख रहे हो,
वो पत्थर नहीं हाथ बढ़ाएगी।
जब तुम्हे तैरना नहीं आता
गलती चांद की इसमें क्या?
नासमझ दिल को इतना भी नहीं पता
चांद पानी में बाहें फैलाती है भला?

वो तो रातों को उजाला करने के लिए आई,
तुम उस चांद के प्रकाश को पकड़ने चल दिए।
अब जब लौट रहे हो उन अंधेरों में दोबारा
गलती चांद की इसमें क्या?
नासमझ दिल को इतना भी नहीं पता
चांद की रौशनी पकड़ सकते है भला?

A poor saint who never done anything wrong and a rich politician with many cases of murder and theft, were in the same hospital. They met with an accident where the saint loses his two legs and the politician gets some minor injuries. Both were of the same age. Upon knowing about the politician, the saint regret every actions of his life. He thought, "What I get by always doing good? Had I been like the politician, I atleast wouldn't had to sleep endless nights with empty tummy. And even in the end I met such faith."

The more you grow up, the more you realise all those moral values which you were taught are nothing less than a prank. This society is full of wolves, they had never seen any sheep, so they can't accept there exists any. This evil society decides what's good or bad according to them.

हमने तो सुना था मोहाबत रूह से होती।
फिर यह कौन सी सफर है?
जो कपड़े देख कर शुरू होती
और कपड़े उतारने तक चलती है।
यहां रिश्ते जिस्म की नींव पर बनती
और काम तुष्टि तक बनी रहती है।
प्रेम तो आत्माओं का मिलन से होती।
फिर यह कौन सी डोर है?

लोग कहते है भूल जाओ चांद को,
कितने जुगनू तुम्हारे लिए बैठे हैं यहां।
उनसे कोई पूछो हजारों जुगनू और लाखों सितारे भी मिलकर उस चांद सा रौशन कभी कर पाएंगे भला?
