When you start looking down upon yourself , just to fit into the wavelength or range of the society or anyone's standards or perspectives , You start losing your worth. Having a set of standard or expectations is a totally different one from having ego and pride. But when you lower your standards and start accepting anything that is less , it makes you forget how amazing you are and how much you truly deserve. You oversee everything that is meant for you , to fit in somehow , cause you believe that.....that is the peak of everything that you deserve and you cannot do better than this .... which is hilariously not true at all . You do not have to lower your standards , the world needs to upgrade if they want YOU.— % &

Everything is going to work out precisely fine. It might take a little bit more time than it took to work out for the others , and it's absolutely ok. Cause this is not a competition. It's life. You embrace every thing that comes YOUR way not anyone else's. You grow through what you go through. And while you keep moving towards the things you want to achieve , the movement may happen backwards too sometimes. And that might be disheartening , but if you look at it in a way to reflect upon the shortcomings , you're skipping a step or maybe more to move forward. It kinda makes you closer to your goal . You'll have your share of celebration too .

There are things that bother you and then there are things , you let bother you. It's all about the amount of importance you give it. To let it have a control over you or for you to control it. It is also about , if it's really bothering you or you are simply driving yourself nuts by dragging something that's not really as problematic as you think it is.
