There was something special about the hearts of those people,
Which made them so distinct and (in faith)unequal.

That level of gratitude to Allah after losing their loved ones,
Which left us all with so many silent questions.

Even after losing a home in a recent bombing,
preservance of that innocent smile on the face.
Left us all with a reason and a question
"is this duniya even worth to chase?"

Their level of patience moved my heart,
Because there was something special about their hearts.

Some circumstances are a sign,
That distances are meant to make everything fine.

Distanced myself from some toxic
friends of mine,
Just to realize without them around,
I just shine.

Then one fine day got in touch with them,
Just to realize why did my parents
ask me to condemn them.

Thought maybe they have changed overtime,
But also something's & people can't
be mend by time.

Some circumstances are a sign,

We all were forced to become who we are today.

For sometime we all wandered stray,
But that only caused us to dismay.

We were taught a lie that such and
such would make us slay,
But we grew up to realize all that
was a betray.

We all learnt this fact a very hard way
When we were left with no-way

Especially the surgery posting days,
which didn't go by until we argue

The besan ladoos I will never forget
I wish that we were friends from
the day 1 that's my only regret

Two immature souls met as a stranger
Back in those days from each other they wanted to flee

Now she have become a sailor
And he was her dawki sea

And she was the lost sailor but the lost compass doesn't haunt her anymore,
Because his crystal clear tides guides her through to the shore.

But she have become a sailor who doesn't want to reach the shore
She just yearns to be in his water and explore

Moreover the curls of the sea doesn't scare the sailor,
Because this sailor was asthmatic and the sea was it's inhaler.

Never did the depth of the sea petrified the sailor,
The sailor wished to take its last breathe in the sea.

The lovers of the shore promised to meet where the water meets the sky,
But the sailor only asked for a single promise from the sea pleading it to never become dry.

From the days when we use to fight like animals
To the day when you have become my life's bicycle paddles

In this bicycle of life I was the wheel
And to move the cycle,paddles is what you need

Now without you I cannot make any move
Every person you hate, from my life is disapproved

Leave the world, just under one roof
Life can be beautiful, you are that proof

In this bicycle of life I would leave everyone behind
Because only with you the inner peace i have found

Life without you would have been a great regret

As you grew up and learned the art
of keeping everyone's heart,
But why did you unlearn the art of

Constantly disregarded the call of

This took you away from yourself way
too apart

And when you turned back it was
too late to start
Because your heart had already
fallen apart.

The world lied to you that

water on you dreams thirst?
If you die out of this thirst it's
because the world malicely coerced.
