என் மகளை பெற்றபோது கோவம் கொண்ட முகங்கள் சில,
நான் ஏனோ என் மகனை பெற்றபோது சிரித்தன....
அன்று வாடிய முகங்கள் சில,
இன்று ஏனோ மலர்ந்தன.
அன்று மகிழ்ந்த முகங்கள் சில,
இன்று ஏனோ எரிந்தன.....
எனக்கு மட்டும் ஒன்று புரியவில்லை.....
இரண்டும் என் பிள்ளைகள்.
அவர்கள் உலகத்தை கண்டத்தில் மகிழ வேண்டியவள் நான் அல்லவா?
என் மகள் சிறை படாமல் வாழவும்,
என் மகன் மனிதனாய் வாழவும்,
பயம் கொள்ள வேண்டியவழும் நான் தானே.‌..
அதில் உங்கள் வெறுப்பும், மகிழ்ச்சியும் எதற்கு?

The trees on the grove
Nodded its head
To the song of the whispering wind.
The tall monster mountains,
Gazed at me with questioning eyes....
Chirping birds shared gossips
With its fellowmen.
May be I was the subject to their discussion today.......
The sorrows of my heart wept aloud,
Turning the attention
of all these heavenly things,
My bulged eyes begged me,
For some peaceful hours.
Then I decided,
It's only the lap of nature,
Where I can bury my bewildered mind.

Don't loose the chair of hope.

Your wide smile,
Your sparkling eyes,
Your stupid speech,
Switch on my mind,
And keeps me awake all night.

My feelings too have a figure,
which can now seen by everyone.

Don't burry yourself deep into the darkness,
Then you can't see the sunshine forever.
