I wish I could give you a Red Rose,
Hold your hand and express
My feelings for you that arose.

Without you, my life was an incomplete canvas
You entered it to fill with the colours of your love,
It’s you, with whom my heart feels so complete,
Which after so such a long time makes my heart skip a beat!

Your warm eyes welcome me with such grace,
I get lost in them at such a pace,
When you look at me adrenaline flushes in my vein,
When you will kiss me, dopamine shall make the reign.

Your promises take me to a different world,
To make me feel warm and furled.
A world dreamy enough and oh so full of love,
With you treating me like a white little dove.

You never threw cheesy lines my way,
Nor did you try to win my heart.
But you always knew the right words to say,
And that sparked ‘us’ a different start!

Sugarcoated words,grand deeds,
Asserting dominance or imposing needs,
You never really tried any of these,
Whenever I needed you,
you simply cared and made me ‘yours’

It has been days since you and me had a good talk...
It has been days since you showered me your love...
If love was supposed to grow at an exponential phase...
I am sorry to say it has started decreasing in an exponential phase..
It has been days since you wrote me loving words...
It has been days since we spent a good day together... hand in hand...
If love was supposed to ease our distance and our pain....
I am sorry to say ours has increased the pain..
This pain would continue till we don't realise that it is in us that we find peace.
This is why it's called PAIN OF LOVE.

Dear Humans,

However hard u may try to control my imaginations and try to bring me stability, I will continue wandering
from one thought to another..
from one worry to another..
from one dream to another..
from one regret to another..
from one emotion to another..
I am the free bird..
U cannot control me with any cage.

I rose high up the sky..
from the embrace of mother ocean..
The sky being my destination..
I travelled all along the way..
Sometimes I gave what I had..
Sometimes taking up what
my friend earth gave me..
I travelled further only
to find barren lands n dried
up ponds..
Tears rolled down my eyes
finding them waiting for me...
Without hesitation.. I gave up all
I had to the seeking lands and the
thirsty ponds..
The birds welcomed me..
with their melodious voice..
N so did the trees..
Swinging n dancing to
the touch of my tears...
Suddenly.. the sun came out
from my behind only to join
me in my joy...
Together me and the sun
continued our show..
Till the time.. the rainbow
came out only to add to the beauty.
Together... Me.. The Sun...
The Rainbow... And the wind
watched our friend Earth
coming back to its life and dancing.

Her bright green
shifted to the hues
of golden and red
and a shy shade of pink.
And she dropped from
the high and mighty branch,
like an angel that fell
from grace and lie
adorning the soil
with her queer shape.
She smiled knowing that
life for her finished
with dignity and
finally returned to
mother earth and became
one with her.

Life isn't a plan.
It's a bird
that could fly,
Anywhere, anytime,
writing verses with
the quills in the sky.
