Waiting to be found.

Wasn't that childhood better,
Where the only thing which hurt us, was broken toys and not the broken ties?

Na maloom zindagi kis marhale par hai,
Bas ek parinde ke maanind hai
Azaad, toh unchi parwaaz
Qaid, toh na koi awaaz.

Building walls around yourself could actually save you from a lot of damage.
Intruders could be perilous, at times.

कुछ दूर तक चले तो एक काफ़िला साथ था,
सफ़र मज़ीद तवील था, तो काफ़िला भी घटता गया।
जब अहसास हुआ कि काफ़िला ज़रूरी ही नहीं,
तो फिर सफ़र भी आसानी से गुज़रता गया।

कुछ इस कदर दूर निकल आए
बस यूं ही चलते - चलते,
होने को तो थी एक नई सुबह
मगर ठहर गई हो जैसे कोई शाम ढलते - ढलते।

Good days or bad days,
They change, they won't remain the same forever,
Why to stress about something, which is prone to change?

It's an emotional connect,
Which distinguishes a friend from an acquaintance.

When we feel low, we all want someone who puts their trust in our potential,
When we fail to do that for ourselves.
