ज़िन्दगी में एक ऐसा वक्त भी आता है,
जब ये समझ नहीं आता दिल की सुनू या
दिमाग की, खुश रहूं या उदास।

यादों को चुनू या इंसान को,
सब कुछ ऐसा लगता है मानो हाथ से निकल
रहा होता है, दिल में तूफान सा मचा होता है..
कोई पूछने वाला भी नहीं होता है हाल अपना,
ना कोई ख़ामोशी समझता है।
दिमाग भी सोच के परेशान रहता है कि आखिर
दिल उदास क्यों है।
कोई जवाब नहीं होता, कोई पास नहीं होता,
तब कोन साथ देता है इस बेचैनी में,
सिर्फ हम खुद, हमारा खुद का मन हमारा साथ देता है।
मुस्कुराहट चेहरे में होती भी नहीं है, फिर भी मन को
मनाना पड़ता है खुश रहने को।
