Why expectations hurt so much when they're not fulfilled ?

“Expectation is assuming that you will get something 100% conveniently ignoring all the probabilities and uncertainties of life which may refrain you from getting it.”

And once you start craving for something, it's absence hurts you a lot.

Respect uncertainty and don't expect much from life, this way you will value what you get and would not be devastated if you don't get something.

Subordinates- humility

Relatives- humility

Strangers- humility.

Humbleness (humility) tells a lot about people and their upbringing; it assures you that a person is mature, you can freely interact, your views won't be ignored, you wouldn't be disrespected.

A humble person is a tree laden with fruits and countless branches full of leaves, who wouldn't go near it?
