Unhealthy homes nurture unhealthy kids.

Stop telling your kids:

"You need to be disciplined"
"You need to wake up on time"
"You need to lose weight"
"You need to score more marks"
"you need to eat better"

You are their source of inspiration. Are you doing that? Are you showing them how to be physically, mentally and financially better?

Set an example, and changes will flow.
Don't expect your kids to be better than you,
if you can't be better than yourself.

Earlier I used to live with fear,
fear of not knowing myself.

There were words,
but actions were non-existent.

I slept dreading the world,
now I sleep imagining the future.

I have found my path,
even if I still don't know my destination

I'll do what I can and
I'm ready for whatever comes ahead.

I embrace my fear,
and use it to fuel my ambitions now.

6 Steps to quit smoking for good:

1) Understand that it doesn't help with stress. When you smoke you are not reducing stress, you are reducing the stress of nicotine addiction.

2) Develop hate for the habit. Feel disgusted with yourself, with anyone who smokes. It's harsh, but it helps to reinforce it again and again.

3) Stay away from friends who smoke, at least for the initial couple of months till you develop a tolerance.

4) Get up and get moving. Feel the urge? Take a walk, and walk until your legs are tired. Do 10 push-ups, 10 squats or play a game you like.

5) Join a gym or take up a sport and dedicate yourself to it. When you see progress there, you'll stick to it and give up on the cancer stick.

6) Stay vigilant. Addiction is like a ditch, if you close your eyes, you may fall again.

We are all immigrants in their world
expats in our world

the lexicon of division
bigoted supervision

migration of hate
can this world bear the weight?
can we start with a clean slate?

kaun bolega Inquilab Zindabad
Kya ab ye desh hai barbaad

when will this darkness end
we are just waiting to die
in this sinking sand

where have we come
there are Buddhist terrorist
and violent monks

Ayodhya mein shayad Ram hai
par mera baaki pura desh Haram hai

Fall in love with cooking, managing a diet becomes easy.

Fall in love with working out, managing the mind becomes easy.

Fall in love with the process, managing results becomes easy.

Fall in love with yourself, managing life becomes easy.

I don't agree with the proverb
"good things come to those who wait".

You have to go towards them.
Some days you'll run,
some days you'll walk,
some days you'll crawl,
some days you'll rest.

Don't wait.

Old skin dies, new skin appears.
Old you dies, new you appears.

It doesn't happen quickly.
It doesn't happen easily.

It takes time.
Give yourself some time.

Stay relentless, stay consistent.

The better you will emerge.
I promise you.

Mastery is an illusion of an ignorant fool.

Mastery is when you begin to understand how much you don't know.
