کوئی سنے اگر میرے دل کے افسانوں کو،
آہیں بھرے گا، ہاتھ مَلے گا، پھر رو پڈے گا

کبھی اے نگاہِ ناز آ ، کہ ھم بھی صاحبِ کمال ہیں
اک تو ہی نہیں ہے جلوہ گر، ھم بھی دیوانے لامثال ہیں۔
تجھے حسن پہ ہے دسترس، تو پسِ ہجومِ ستمگراں
کہ باز آ، اب ستم نہ کر، تیرے حسن کا بھی زوال ہے۔
