THE CITY
'Through the glass balconies and the french windows do you see what I see?
The city that rumbles everyday underneath and the humans rummaging through their past, still walking down those streets with hope in their eyes and ambitions in their hearts. May be they will fulfill some and leave others in halfway or maybe they will hope for those others to touch the finish line. What do you say?'
To my question, she just nodded her head and said, 'I see everyday what you see today'. All this time when I was out loud with this notion, she was probably resonating with my thoughts more, than having an ability to contemplate with them. Rather than looking down at the road, I could read all those hopes, aspirations and the urge in my own daughter more than the city.
