Hanging on to the good memories that felt like magic.
Times when we laughed so hard it made me sick.
The good times are growing fewer & further in between.
At times having arguments so ugly, both intentionally being mean.
A little here & there of playing nice & things are alright.
I take the breadcrumbs delaying the next fight.

Taint me with Love so Red...
Taint me with those purple orchids..
Taint me With Yellow Mustard..
Taint me with Grasses So Green..
Taint me with poems of Hues...
Taint me with lies of Rainbows...
Taint me with all you have....

But do come On some Caliginous Night
With those Grey Skies And Tainted Clouds to reveal
How do you plan to Taint My Soul Sweet heart...

Part II

Giving just enough breadcrumbs to string me along.
The question is, why have I stayed this long?
Do I deserve more or is this what's meant for me?
Trying to change another will ultimately only hurt me.
I've surely changed, it's unclear if it's for better or for worse.
I remain low on the priority list, I've never been put first.
