Sometimes,

The scratches on your mobile
illustrate how many times have you
been unable to handle your
brokenness.

Scratches and marks
are still visible
to the store of my mind
but to be honest
I don't know
where to start

Yesterday night, after taking my sleeping pills, i moved from my room to terrace. I was deeply lost in my thoughts , I was in need for connection and love is just as fundamental as my need for food ,water and shelter .

I was in the illusion,
You approached me
With a bouquet of rose,
I mistook you to be my love.
You handed me the rose,
But I positioned it in my heart.
My innocence was unknown, to the
Presence of the dreadful thorns,
Which scratched my heart-
To the similar colour of the rose.
The offer from you sucked my life,
But still I hide my crimson marks
With the petals of the roses;
Leaving behind the thorns
To perform its duties.

Pain drained
In between the moans
After Scratching games
Marks on your back
Like some wild fight
Still you manage to stay
Deep inside...

In the hospital room, lay a girl on her bed.
Bruises, scars, scratches and dried tears mapped her face.
An undercover agent double crossed by the mole.

I guess smartphones were aptly named so while being designed according to human nature & need.
'Smart'; however costly it might be in the beginning, it slows down after a while, gets a few scratches, gets old after an year or two, and is then discarded, thus increasing its sale and use manifold.

Acts akin to how we mortals act.
Cashing well on the human emotion of throwing people out of their lives after getting too used to them, or when all the dents in one's character are revealed, resulting in an emotional void and detachment.

Too smart, isn't it?
