come with me, and i shall take you to a world inside my head.
a world that my mind creates every night before i sleep
as it tells itself stories of people who do not exist
people you and i can be, if we become us.
how does that sound?

coming to pick you up for a breakfast date
while in our pyjamas we vibe to music
and get some pancakes or chole bhature
depending on the mood of the music we just heard.
how does that sound?

talking to each other about our careers
and having each other's backs too
while knowing never too break each other's trust
for seeing our future, in each other's arms.
how does that sound?

being together while you can be you, and i can be me
holding hands sometimes, and some occasional kisses.
and obviously cuddles on a cold night
to, you know, keep our hearts warm.
how does that sound?

falling in love evedyday when we look at each other
and never sleeping before settling a disagreement.
loving each other beyond turning frail and grey,
and then riding into the sunset, together.
