ख्वाहिशे हजार और ख्वाब यूँ ही कोई दो-चार हैं ,,
आज भी अनगिनत कोशिशों में कामयाबी का धैर्य हैं _
बस ख्वाब पूरे होने की देर हैं ।

Ambitions hanging on the wall
were all packed
after importance of money
struck the hall.

I don't know why somedays
writing doesn't soothe,
rather it cut open wounds hidden.
Somedays I spill beans with my ink
and somedays I find myself hanging
in air, damp and shabby,
and then I search air like, my notes
left in between books,
but just like them, air too gives me traces
again for a search, not for breathing.

And I hang midway.

I felt falling down from my crib
Like a baby who just started to crawl !

Old yellowish walls with algal coats
Hanging flowerpots in the balcony
Black cable wires spread all over the roof
And the soothing aroma of evening tea
Placidity of that old mansion was a perfect escape for me
For it helped my inner self to apprehend the silence of life's unvoiced story.
