In the wake of parting, a heart may ache,
Whispers of feelings, genuine, they make.
No fondness for endings, no solace in pain,
Yet sometimes toxicity shadows the gain.
Not every dawn ensures eternal light,
Nor every soul aligns in our life's flight.
Goodbyes to the toxic, to what once thrived,
For wellness to flourish, old ties deprived.
New beginnings bloom, but fleetingly so,
Life's tapestry weaves both exit and hello.
Each passing soul, a transient display,
Some stroll alongside, then wander away.
In letting go, a gentle heart may mourn,
Yet depth of feeling, a truth, is born.
For in the ebb and flow, in each refrain,
Lies the wisdom, not all is meant to remain.
