How I feel when I wait for you...

When I look at my phone ..
Hoping it would buzz atleast for once...

When I glance at your photos .
Reminiscing of the times when you giggled at my jokes...

Would it be poetic ..
If I could ever express the longings
I have for you..

Sadly, I'm a little hopeless

But would it be poetic
If you could find a little comfort
In my hopelessness

Some people's stories
Aren't written with happiness
They are written with a lot of struggle
Some blood and sweat
An ocean of sadnesss
Loneliness and uncertainties

Maybe that's why they hope
Hope to pick up the broken pieces
Hope to find a quantun of solace
Hope to find an eternal peace

Maybe that's why they hope
Coz it's magical
Coz it's beautiful

Coz it's unreal

A symphony..
That stands out in a world full of cacophonies

A dream...
That lingers in your mind
even after its long gone

A fragrance
That stays with you...
Reminiscing you of those times..

Happiness is like a Mirage...
That always seems not far...
Yet never so near...

And then June slipped away ..
So did the hot summer..
The uncertainties and the overwhelming thoughts...

The midsummer nights' breeze went away with it too..
As did the early morning dreams...

But will it ever start again?
We never know.....

जिसे ढूंढने का ख्वाइश
जरा सी न बची

थोड़ा मुस्कुराहट दे दो
और कुछ हसीन लम्हे

जरा सा अपनापन दे दो
जो शायद कभी न मुझे जची

कुछ छोटे से ख्वाब
कुछ ख्वाइशें और बीती बातें

याद आती हैं
वो पुराने लम्हें
कुछ मुस्कुराते दिन
और हसीन रातें

दिल में आता हैं
वो मीठे से सपने
जो छुप गए सिरहाने में

वो कहानियां जो
कभी लिखी न गई
बस खो गए
कहीं ज़माने में

जरूरत तो नही
बस एक छोटी सी ख्वाइश हैं
तुम्हारा मुस्कुराना
अब कोई आदत तो नहीं
सिर्फ एक नुमाइश हैं

हकीकत न बनो तुम सही
ख्वाइश बनके रहो
जिंदगी में न सही
ख्वाब में रहो

तुम्हारा पास होना
जरूरत तो नही
बस आज भी
एक छोटी सी ख्वाइश हैं

तो सिकायत करु तारों से
देखता रहूं आसमान के तरफ़
थके हुए निगाहों से

रात को कहूं ठहर जा थोड़ा
आज दिन को रुक जाने दे

काश के बस फना हो जाऊं
ए चांद तेरे यूं रूठ जाने से
