Planted as a sapling young
The tree of youth flourished
Withstanding time and seasons
Mere corpse of a dead tree

Leaves withered without adieu
Wind whispered, " you're time is Nigh"
Yet sweet Thames soothed him
Awaiting eternal rest, not spring

Immortality is a curse
Lamenting never ceased 
The Tiresian tree yearned 
For a drop of mortal love

A maze made of dark abyss, attracting deception
Hurt by lies thrown at; at every nook n' corner, every edge
I seek the light of truth, a silver beam of salvation

Chaos clouds my conscience n' strangles every decision
I want to believe in words, but not every tongue is worthy
I want my space in a heart, but everyone's mind jails a crowd
Attraction, interest, desire, benefit, targets are accumulated

Is it possible to get to the tunnel end by only my own light ?
Why are the lights 'round me made up of illusionary hope ?
Will I emerge as a winner, if my faith is entirely butchered but
I still kept holding on, because in this maze, I only have myself
