Why to distract an emotion
With some other work or emotion ?
We, homo sapiens, or atleast most of us,
Tend to get bored very quickly.
We want something new always.
Whatever the emotion is,
Just let it in, be it love, pain or grief.
Once you experience it completely,
Once you embrace it completely,
You can detach from it easily.
With your inner self,
'fight' works better than 'flight' .
